The Good Life
Led by Eric Bonvin, psychiatrist and anthropologist, together with Valentine Coluccia, musician and sound therapist, this workshop invites participants to an experiential moment that brings different sounds into resonance with the context of the art of caring and self-care. Various moments of perceptual immersion and exchanges between speakers and participants will punctuate this encounter in the tone of a good life.

To Sleep, to Dream, Perhaps…

Immersed in a darkness made for relaxation and meditation, the audience lies back and lets itself be carried away, note by note, by Alexandre Tharaud and his guests. It is the hour of dreams. Such is the promise of the pianist with Les Dodos Tharaud—moments of singular sharing.

Lying on stage, in the gentle intimacy of this atmosphere, surrender to a delicate, poetic reverie. Feel sleep take hold of your body, and drift—why not?—from waking dreams into night-time visions. Throughout the journey, the music will be there: soothing, benevolent.

A childlike spirit will beckon: the title of these sessions borrows from the language of the very young and calls on your imagination. Who better than a child to thrill in the dark? Beneath the bed, monsters; through the window, a fairy…

So make a fine, sweet, little—or big—deep dodo. A piano dodo. A Tharaud dodo!

Confidences d’artiste is a special, convivial and intimate moment shared with some of the greatest musicians of our time. It’s the perfect opportunity to ask them all your questions and to discover more about the behind-the-scenes world of these extraordinary lives.

“Show me your hands” — a question that keeps coming back in Alexandre Tharaud’s life and that inspired the title of a beautiful book he wrote. Today, he looks back on his life as an artist, in the company of a few friends.
