Noda BCVS – The concert and conference hall at the heart of Sion

Noda BCVS, Sion’s new concert and conference hall, stands in the heart of the Cour de Gare district, just a stone’s throw from the CFF railway station. Designed to meet extremely demanding requirements, it can seat between 375 and 600 people and boasts cutting edge acoustics, ideal for classical music and major events. With its elegant black and gold design, Noda BCVS is a technological and architectural showcase designed by Bonnard & Woeffray, created to enhance the cultural and economic influence of the region.

An outstanding season of music
The Noda BCVS musical seasons are the brainchild of our Artistic Director, Giada Marsadri. Thanks to its outstanding stage and acoustics, the hall welcomes nationally and internationally acclaimed orchestras, ensembles and soloists in a season that stretches from September to June built around a coherent dramatic narrative. Symphonic music, recitals and chamber music can engage in natural dialogue, with space for detours and crossovers with other musical worlds.

A place for fresh encounters and discoveries
In addition to the concert programme, Noda BCVS will open up to the general public with Noda+, a programme of completely free outreach activities. Designed to foster exchanges and discovery, these events invite all comers to explore music differently. They are aimed both at music lovers and the curious who may not have yet purchased a concert ticket.

Nodathèque, a café-bar at the heart of the venue
Nodathèque is a friendly and contemporary café-bar. Here you can enjoy good coffee, carefully selected wines, snacks and seasonal cocktails, from Monday morning to Saturday evening. With its terrace, it is the perfect spot for a coffee break, post-work drinks or spending time with friends.

An accessible and welcoming space
Located a stone’s throw from the CFF railway station, right by the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sion and connected to an underground car park, Noda BCVS enjoys optimal accessibility. It plays a part in the cultural and economic vitality of the Valais Canton, boosting the appeal of Sion as a meeting place and city of innovation and creation.

A modular event space
Noda BCVS is also an excellent venue for the organisation of professional, academic and cultural events. Congresses, conferences, business meetings and artistic events can all be held in this modular and contemporary space, equipped with high-level technical facilities.
