My first time at Noda BCVS

Everything you’ve always wanted to know but never dared to ask. Whether you are a well-informed music lover or a musical risk taker, here are a few tips for an enjoyable, seamless experience.

How to find my way around and when to arrive

There are clear signs to guide you to the entrances, the ticket office and your seat. And, in spite of all that, if you are still unsure, our staff is there to help you. You should arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the concert to have enough time to settle in comfortably.

How should I dress?

Good news: there’s no strict dress code. Come as you are, dressed up to the nines or wearing whatever makes you feel comfortable. The main thing is that you feel relaxed!

Is there a break?

Most of the concerts include an intermission of around 20 minutes. Enough time to stretch your legs, have a drink and share your impressions.

What if I come late?

Our events start at the exact time shown on the ticket. Once the doors are closed, admittance to the hall is not guaranteed and depends on the situation in situ. If the reception staff allow admittance, the latecomer must wait to be shown somewhere other than the seat initially reserved, at least until the intermission.

May I take photos or videos?

Of course, it’s very tempting! But in order not to spoil the experience for everyone else, photos and videos are prohibited during concerts and shows. Before and after, on the other hand, you are free to take any snaps you like. Remember, too, to switch off your telephone or set it to silent mode when you are in the main hall.

When do I applaud?

With classical music, people do not applaud between movements, but at the end of each piece. If you are unsure, check what the others are doing or wait until the conductor turns to face the audience.

May I drink or nibble things?

Places where you can take refreshments are available before the concert, during the intermission and afterwards. Conversely, drinks and food are not allowed in the main hall.

What if I have any other questions?

Our team is there to help you and make your evening out unforgettable. Make yourself comfortable, relax and let the music do the rest!
