Martha Argerich and Mischa Maisky are some of the most iconic artists of their generation and have featured, for some decades now, among the main players on the international music scene. She is an Argentine-born pianist and now naturalised Swiss citizen, a former child prodigy who has become a major figure of her time. Having been trained in Buenos Aires, London and Vienna by some of the greatest masters, she combines passion with absolute artistic freedom. A strong-willed and proud artist, she refuses to be confined by any single repertoire. She simply plays what she loves.
