Noda BCVS hosts a unique musical evening, on the theme of meeting, exigency and sharing. Giving them carte blanche, the teachers from the HEMU – Valais-Wallis form an ensemble of variable geometry, devised especially for the occasion. This concert spotlights the richness of the chamber music repertoire, a mixture of rare works and favourite scores. Everyone brings a carefully chosen piece that reflects a journey, an affinity or an artistic commitment. Over and above the pleasure of playing together, this ephemeral ensemble embodies the vital synergies within the institution: a laboratory for exchange between pedagogy and stage, transmission and creation. Noda BCVS’ concert hall, a freshly inaugurated sound context, offers a unique opportunity for teachers, who are also performers in their own right, and the local public to gather together. It is set to become a real visibility platform for the HEMU – Valais-Wallis, where education and institution unite to promote the influence of a demanding but inspired musical heritage. With this collective gesture, its teachers assert their role as the conduits and explorers – and at times, revealing sometimes forgotten treasures – of great music.
