Program

OKWOK has developed a musical language with a wide range of influences, drawing on contemporary jazz, impressionist music and the pulsating rhythms of hip-hop culture. Following their breakthrough at the “Jazz sous les étoiles” festival in Saint-Luc, where the trio won the ‘Audience Favourite’ award, the group went on to collaborate with trumpeter Ralph Alessi and has gradually established itself on the Swiss music scene. Inspired by the different phases of a volcano, their music oscillates between bursts of intensity and moments of introspective calm. Released in 2025, their latest album, The Valley Session, has merely confirmed the rise of a trio in full swing.

About

In 2026–27, Noda BCVS opens its doors to jazz, revealing its many facets! Seven opportunities to explore the vitality of French-speaking Switzerland’s music scene, from jazz to improvised music, spanning Afro-Brazilian rhythms, hip-hop and Baroque influences, and contemporary sounds. The Nodathèque becomes a new meeting place where different aesthetics converge and boundaries fade away.
