Program
Named after an iconic pair of mountains in Schwyz, the piano-drums duo formed by Marius Rivier and Daniel Roelli was born following a chance encounter at the Basel Academy of Music. Since then, the musicians have released two albums and, with Mythen, have found the ideal formula to give free rein to their imagination. With gentle restraint, they create pieces reminiscent of nursery rhymes, allowing small rhythmic and melodic fragments to dissolve and settle naturally. Their music, finely crafted yet spontaneous, invites listeners to pay attention to what often goes unnoticed.
