Noda BCVS – A new cultural hub in the heart of Sion

An extraordinary concert hall
Noda BCVS, Sion’s new concert and conference hall, stands in the heart of the Cour de Gare district, just a stone’s throw from the CFF railway station. Designed to meet extremely demanding requirements, it can seat between 375 and 600 people and boasts cutting edge acoustics, ideal for classical music and major events. With its elegant black and gold design, Noda BCVS is a technological and aesthetic marvel designed to enhance the region’s cultural and economic influence.

An ambitious programme of music
As of autumn 2025, Noda BCVS will offer an unparalleled series of musical events under the artistic direction of Giada Marsadri. It will host nearly 20 classical concerts, taking in symphonic music, recitals and chamber music, with the participation of renowned national and international artists. Noda BCVS also intends to become part of the very fertile cultural ground of Sion and the Valais, proposing synergies with home-grown talent. The point at which tradition and modernity come together, its ambition is to become a focus of cultural reference for the region and the world beyond.

A place for fresh encounters and discoveries
In addition to the concert programme, Noda BCVS will open up to the general public with Noda+, a number of scheduled cultural and educational activities to foster exchange and discovery. Noda+ is an immersive idea that goes beyond music alone, a invitation to explore, question and share. A rewarding experience that prolongs the pleasure of the concert in a social, interactive atmosphere, where art and sensibilities meet.

Strategic positioning
Standing in a district undergoing major transformation, Noda BCVS draws on its extraordinary location beside the CFF railway station and the Energypolis campus. This major project reflects the region’s commitment to the promotion of culture and innovation. Philippe Varone, Chairman of the Foundation Board, insists: “With Noda BCVS, Sion is endowing itself with a cultural and economic catalyst.”

Influence that reaches beyond borders
Part of an innovative setting lying somewhere between tradition and modernity, Noda BCVS enhances the pull of the Valais, a region sought out for its heritage, its fine cuisine and its privileged access to the Alps. This ambitious project goes hand in hand with Sion’s development as a city of the future, open to talent as well as artistic and economic initiatives.
